The Johnson Pump Ultima Bilge Pump Switch is a solid-state electronic switch designed for reliable water detection in marine environments. Utilizing advanced digital technology, it ensures efficient operation of bilge pumps without the need for moving parts.
This pre-owned switch has been tested and is in working condition. It comes in its original box, ensuring all components are intact and ready for installation.
Key features include:
- Digital Sensing Technology: Utilises Mirus field-effect detector cells to detect water disruptions through micro-electrical fields, ensuring precise activation and deactivation of the bilge pump.
- Sealed Detector Cells: Completely sealed and never in contact with water, preventing corrosion and ensuring longevity. These cells are unaffected by oil or foreign debris, maintaining consistent performance.
- Activation and Deactivation Levels: Activates the bilge pump when the water level reaches 50 mm (2 inches) and deactivates it when the water level drops to 20 mm (3/4 inch), effectively managing water levels in the bilge.
- Built-in Delay Feature: Incorporates a 3-second delay to prevent false starts caused by water sloshing, ensuring the pump operates only when necessary.
- Compatibility and Ratings: Rated to handle pumps up to 20 amps at 12V or 10 amps at 24V, making it suitable for various bilge pump applications.
