Bionic Commando Xbox360 Game – Good With Manual

It’s been a lo-o-o-o-o-o-ng time coming, but the first true sequel to the 1988 NES classic, Bionic Commando, is finally here. Twenty years on, you’re looking at a significantly different game to the side-scrolling, platforming original.

It’s been five years in game time since the events of the first game, and things are quite a bit different for Nathan ‘R.A.D.’ Spencer. Following his heroic defeat of the Imperials, the government – the one he swore to serve – has turned on him and he finds himself imprisoned for crimes he didn’t commit. On the eve of his execution, however, terrorists detonate a devastating experimental weapon that unleashes an earthquake upon Ascension City, one that destroys its populace and all but turns it to rubble. It falls to Spencer to once again take on the role of Bionic Commando and take to the streets to save the day. Once again he dons his Bionic arm, complete with grappling hook, and heads into action.

This sequel takes the swing and shoot gameplay mechanic of the original and flips it into 3D. Players will make their way around a vertical and horizontal landscape, swinging and zipping between skyscrapers, shooting out enemies and, where necessary, flipping them into the air or tossing the odd car at them.
