2013 Korean War 60th Anniversary One Dollar ($1) Uncirculated Australian Decimal Coin
This $1 coin produced by the Royal Australian Mint commemorates the 60th Anniversary of the end of the Korean War. Its reverse, designed by artist Aaron Baggio, symbolises the signing of the armistice agreement between communist and United Nations leaders in 1953. The depiction of a dove in flight and the word ‘peace’ in Korean pays tribute to the intent behind this historic period.
