1990 Set Of 12 Franklin Mint – Birthstone Jewels of Elegance Porcelain Miniature Doll Figurines

Here is a beautiful set from Franklin. Really lovely. Birthday doll is dressed in the birthstone color for each month. Twelve fashion miniatures–each adorned with her own genuine birthstone and exquisitely detailed gown. Each figurine comes with a specially written commentary describing her birthstone and what it stands for, also Joyce Reavey’s original costume design. Comes with a Booklet which shows some wear (see photo) and lists each month and birthstone. The Certificate of Authenticity certifies that Jewels of Elegance is an original collection of miniature figurines designed by Joyce Reavey. It is also certified that each figurine is sculptured in Tesori porcelain and individually painted by hand. Each figurine wears a genuine gemstone set in a 24 karat gold setting. It is further certified that this collection has been made available exclusively through The Franklin Mint. Signed by Elizabeth Jennings, Collector Services. Redefining the Art of the Miniature, each doll stands 3 1/2″ tall and comes with a mirrored display shelf, so the back of each gown is displayed as well. This is truly one of a kind and a real find for the avid collector. These were no longer available after February 28, 1990 and sold for $45 each.
